| Comments | The warm water temperatures of Presque Isle Bay inhibit B. cederstroemi presence in the bay. However, B. cederstroemi was found at all Lake Erie stations; however, in contrast to studies of B. cederstroemi conducted by (Berg and Garton, 1988) where B. cederstroemi was more abundant at low temperatures b/w 10-15C; this study revealed just the opposite with B. cederstroemi being more abundant in temperatures between 18-21C. Also, the nonindigenous zooplankton, Cercopagis penjoi, Daphnia lumholzi were not found in any samples collected during this study. not established to date |
