CommentsFrom Drew Lohrer's email: Carinus maenas found at most of the sites were Hemigrapsus sanguineus was found. Green crabs have declined in rocky intertidal habitats coincident with Hemigrapsus sanguineus invasion. Nevertheless, green crabs still widely abundant. Sites in Central Long Island Sound where Hemigrapsus was found were Milford, Morris Cove in East Haven, and Hammonassett State Park, and Carcinus maenas were found at most of these. Specific sites not noted.
