| Comments | Phyllorhiza punctata appears to have established a population west of the Mississippi River in Terrebonne Parish over 20+ ears ago according to Dr. Darryl Felder. He initially considered them to be a species of Rhopilima, a jellyfish of similar appearance. Graham et al. (2003) mentioned the existence of a cryptic population in Louisiana since 1993. |
