CommentsThis observation marks the first reported detection in Nez Perce County. The small stand (3m2) is located in a closed compression storm water catchment area. Given the size and minimal old growth, the stand may only be a year old. An EDRR effort was initiated and plants were removed by hand within 2.5 weeks of confirmation. The site will receive continued monitoring for regrowth towards the goal of eradication.
