| Comments | Lake Minnetonka- Veterans Bay was a part of a study conducted by Dr. Ryan Thum (Montana State University), Dr. Ray Newman (University of Minnesota) and Eric Fieldseth (Minnehaha Creek Watershed District) to look at hybridization of Eurasian watermilfoil and Northern watermilfoil in several different sites in Central Minnesota. The authors confirmed hybrid milfoil in Lake Minnetonka - Veterans Bay during the summer 2016 survey.
