CommentsThe species is likely P. maculata, but not confirmed. Actual snails not witnessed, but multiple snail egg cases (similar to Threemile Creek infested areas) were witnessed in vicinity over a stretch of about 0.5 mile. Near rail line off Viaduct Road, Chickasaw, AL. Extensive wetlands here adjacent to infested areas in drainage of Hog Bayou, Chickasaw Creek, Mobile River.
