CommentsMaine DEP. 2009_ Patches of European naiad found throughout approximately 5-acre pond. 2010_ Patches of curly leaf pondweed were found, in most places mixed with native vegetation. This is the first waterbody in Maine known to be infested with two species of invasive aquatic plants. DEP staff is discussing potential removal efforts with a shorefront resident.
