| Comments | A plankton tow sample was collected on 6/26/25 by CDFW staff at Lake Palmdale specifically at Dock 25 near the inlet of the California Aqueduct. The sample was analyzed on 7/10/25 where a single suspect veliger larva was detected using CPLM. PCR was performed and positive for golden mussel. Genetic sequencing also came back positive for golden mussel. |
