| Specimen Impact | It has become a favorite of fishermen and has probably displaced to some extent other predatory fish, such as Micropterus salmoides and Cichla ocellaris. It also seems to be controlled somewhat by the presence of other aggresive species, such as Amphilophus citrinellus, and A. labiatus. |
