Impact Description"The results demonstrate a positive relationship between the abundance of immature Anopheles mosquitoes and the density of emergent stems of M. aquaticum. The consistent presence of Anopheles larvae in patches with plant densities of 500-600 stems m-2 or greater (Fig. 1) is further evidence that Myriophyllurn patches with high stem densities provide the best habitat conditions for immature Anopheles."
