Comments | Angler that reported the finding caught a native mussel while fishing near the channel on East Lost Lake, a two zebra mussels were attached to the native mussel but one fell off while trying to remove the larger zebra mussel. DNR staff connected shoreline searches and rake tosses near the reported location. While conducting the rake toss 4 zebra mussels were collected on native mussels and vegetation. The zebra mussels that were collected ranged in size from 0.5 to 0.75 inches. |
