Impact DescriptionWater Lettuce is used as a traditional medicine to treat erysipelas and the healing of abrasions. Used for centuries, Pliny (A.D. 77) described its use in Egypt for the treatment of diffusive inflammations of the skin in erysipelas and for the healing of abrasions.
