Impact DescriptionThe population growth of all of the crustacean zooplankton was significantly negatively affected by zebra mussels. Negative effects of zebra mussels on zooplankton may be the result of direct predation on zooplankton or perhaps the indirect result of food availability caused by zebra mussels.
