Impact DescriptionParrots feather can form dense canopies that block sunlight and oxygen exchange, and as a result out compete native species. "A strong negative relationship was found between invasive species cover and submerged species cover, and between invasive species cover and floating (leaved) species cover in all ponds and among invaded ponds only."
