CommentsA continuous freshwater mussel survey was done summer 2001 on a 125 mi stretch of the Upper Delaware River starting at Hancock, NY (beginning of mainstem Delaware), ending at Columbia, NJ. No zebra mussels were found. The first Corbicula shell was found at this site. Future surveys will be done on adjacent areas.
