CommentsIn swimming hole on Cosumnes River near campground during very low water (next to exposed cobble bar during 2021 drought). Jellyfish occurred halfway down the channel between the downstream dead-end lagoon and the widening of the river beyond the exposed cobble bar. Seen both morning and late afternoon/early evening on 8/13/2021. Individuals seen were mostly near the surface. Water depth approx. 3-5 feet deep.
