CommentsDead shells had previously been found at this location by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (see EDDMapS record 8562678). Volunteers participating in Starry Trek (an aquatic invasive species early detection event) found one live clam in aquatic plants that came up with their aquatic plants sampling activities. Revisit by University of MN and Sherburne SWCD staff recovered over a dozen live clams from the area and many dead empty shells.
