| Comments | I am a student attending Southern Connecticut State University, working on my masters thesis which focuses on legacy heavy metal contamination in river sediments. So far I noticed three well established populations of Corbicula fluminea within the Wallingford segment. Starting at the low head dam on Quiinipiac Street, near Amphenol, and then at this site. Populations range from 1mm in size to 25mm in size. North of kayak ramp (linear path parking) in the main channel which runs parallel to Route 150. |
