CommentsIntroduced to Long Lake (near Kenora) in Ontario, Canada in 1901 by loggers. The dam that separated Long Lake and Lake of the Woods was destroyed soon afterward, and the bass escaped into Lake of the Woods. Subsequently planted in other lakes.
